When acceleration increases in one direction, the bridge resistance increases and vice versa. The acceleration is thus calculated from the bridge resistance.LIS302DLHTR allows full-scale ranges of ±2g, ±8g or ±16g, with selectable High Pass filter with a range from 0.02Hz to 3277Hz. The accelerometer also includes internal motion detection algorithms that enable the detection of significant motion changes such as those associated with human movement. It uses a SPI or IIC interface to communicate with the external controller.
