LIS3LV02DLTR is a 3-axis low-power linear accelerometer designed to meet the need for low-cost motion sensing in a wide range of consumer applications, including gaming, health, fitness, navigation, phone gestures and remote controls. This accelerometer is based on the STMicroelectronics’ state-of-the-art, latest generation velocity sensing technology. It is a low-cost IC and easy to use in multi-axis motion sensing applications.
The LIS3LV02DLTR accelerometer is able to measure the linear acceleration of the device on the three axes. It has a high accuracy and resolution of up to 16-bit resolution. The on-chip low-noise amplifier boosts the signals through voltage gain and can perform high-pass filtering depending on the application. The IC also has a dual-axis analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with programmable resolution that can acquire the data and store it for further processing. The device consumes very low power, and its low-power alert signal assists the host processor to take the necessary action whenever necessary.
