The LK1301-9ERG AC-DC converter consists of a switching power conversion stage, a high frequency transformer, and a power factor correction circuit. The switching power conversion stage is executed by a half bridge resonant circuit. This circuit is driven by a pulse-width modulator operating at a fixed frequency, which is determined by the input voltage. The transformer rectifies the output of the switching power conversion stage and produces the DC output voltage.
The power factor correction (PFC) circuit consists of two stages. The first stage is an inductor connected in series with the half bridge rectifier and a capacitor connected in parallel with the rectifier.
