Power management integrated circuits, or PMICs, are the brains of many smart devices. They determine the device\'s power performance, accuracy, reliability, and communication. The LM3702XCBPX-308 is a highly integrated supervisor IC with dynamic integrated reset/power on reset (PWR ONR) and power sequencing features. This supervisor is an excellent example of a state-of-the-art PMIC technology.
Application Field
The LM3702XCBPX-308 is capable of providing system supervisory functions for one to four selectable power-down (standby) supplies and one microprocessor supply. It can also provide accurate reset timing and provide for 2 microprocessor supply monitor. Working Principle
The LM3702XCBPX-308 supervisor IC contains a voltage regulator and oscillator that generate a reset signal on power up. It also has integrated reset and power on reset (PWR ONR) features that enable the system to maintain a stable power state during startup, suspend, and power down. The power supervisor allows users to program the reset delay time and output type, as well as adjust the reset threshold voltage.
