The LM3702YABP-308/NOPB is a part of the PMIC (Power Management IC) ‘Supervisors’ family. Working Principle

The LM3702YABP-308/NOPB combines the essential features of a voltage supervisor with features that aren’t usually found in traditional voltage supervisors. It offers flexible reset signal control, adjustable reset thresholds, push-pull reset signal output, power loss detection, window watchdog and manual reset capability. When enabled, the chip will monitor the voltage on the VDD pins. The window watchdog is a special feature that activates when both the voltage level and time exceed specified limits.[3]

When the measured voltage exceeds the configured threshold, the RESET pin is driven low. The RESET signal will remain low until the voltage drops below the configured reset threshold. This reset signal is then asserted again when the VDD reaches the predetermined window watchdog threshold.[4]

The LM3702YABP-308/NOPB also supports manual reset, which can be triggered externally. When an external signal is applied to the MRS pin, the chip will drive the RESET pin low and wait for an external force to de-assert it. This feature is useful for system testing and debugging.
