LM393DE4

The LM393DE4 is a low power, quad differential comparator, suitable for low voltage and low current applications. It is designed to provide standard comparison needs for a wide range of applications, from smart meters to personal electronics and appliances. The LM393DE4 has a low input current of 0.2mA, which helps reduce system power consumption.

The LM393DE4 is constructed of two channels, allowing a single circuit to detect two separate input signals. The two channels are arranged in an 8-pin package and can simultaneously detect both rising and falling edges. Each of the four differential input stages are fixed at -2.5V and applied to the referenced output. The LM393DE4 works by comparing two separate input signals and generating an output according to the comparison. When the input values are different, the output voltage changes from a logic low (0V) to a logic high (3.3V or 5V). If the inputs are the same, the output remains low.
