The LM95213EB/NOPB is an evaluation board featuring the LM95213 integrated dual temperature sensor. As a part of National Semiconductor\'s Active Thermistor product family, this board provides precision temperature measurement and system control in a wide range of applications. The board is designed to measure temperatures from -55 ˚C to 150 ˚C and can operate over a wide voltage range from 3V to 36V. Furthermore, the integrated LM95213 digital tone technology allows the user to quickly calibrate the temperature measurement with an external EEPROM.
The LM95213EB/NOPB is designed to primarily serve as a prototyping and evaluation platform for testing the LM95213 and other temperature sensing solutions provided by National Semiconductor. The board ships ready for use, complete with two sets of sensing elements mounted on a single board. The two sets of sensing elements consist of thermistors with resistances from 2500 to 2500 Ω and thermocouples with resistances ranging from 500 to 150 Ω. The board is compatible with a wide range of voltage levels from 3V to 36V.
The board features an integrated 5-pin header for connecting external sensors to the board. The header allows for up to three external sensors to be connected. Furthermore, the board features two separate 3-wire ports for powering the onboard temperature sensors. The two ports provide an excellent signal accuracy when connecting up to two remote temperature sensing locations independently of the board.
