The first mode, and probably the most popular, is the simple on/off function, which allows the user to either enable or disable the sensor. The testing mode and the interactive circuit are the other two operating modes available. The testing mode allows users to accurately assess the measured temperature at a single point in time, while the interactive circuit enables users to analyze the entire range of temperatures, including historical readings.
