Working Principle

Therefore, the device can support a range of gains from 1 to 500.

The last stage of the amplifier is the output stage. It is also a differential amplifier with dynamic gain control and AC-coupled output. The gain of this amplifier is internally fixed by its DC bias current, and the output is provided at the outputs of both the differential amplifier stage and the output stage.

The LMH6703MFX/NOPB supports the open-loop gain trimming and DC offset correction functions. In the open-loop gain trimming mode, the output can be adjusted by choosing a corresponding voltage from the DACs. The gain of the amplifier can then be changed by applying a voltage to the trimming pin.
