The LMP7300MMX/NOPB is a series of linear comparators that is a member of Texas Instruments’ broad family of low-power analog signal processing products. It is designed to compare voltage levels with an accuracy of 1/10th of a volt, and is available with single supply as low as 2.5V. The LMP7300MMX/NOPB is ideal for battery-powered applications or other low-power applications where space, weight and power consumption are critical. It is also suitable for applications requiring fast turnaround times.This device offers low power, low voltage operation (down to 1.8V) and high input impedance with fast response times (turnaround of 20 ms). The device features fixed trip points and adjustable offsets, enabling it to accept any voltage level and respond accurately. Its adjustable switching hysteresis gives the user flexibility to adjust the trip point and hysteresis to meet the application needs.The LMP7300MMX/NOPB performs three basic functions: (1) It compares two voltage levels, and the input pins on the device act as a bridge between an input voltage (Vin) and an output voltage (Vout). (2) It supports an adjustable offset to increase or decrease the input voltage range. (3) It provides adjustable hysteresis to set the maximum acceptable range for a given output voltage.The LMP7300MMX/NOPB can be used in a wide variety of applications. It can be used in battery operated systems, as a voltage detector, a temperature and temperature sensing device, a voltage regulator, and more. For battery operated systems, the device is ideal as it consumes very low power, is lightweight, and takes up minimal space. The adjustable hysteresis and offset make it suitable for precise voltage detection in harsh environments, as it can detect precise levels of voltage without the need for precise resistors.The device also provides a variable time delay for the output voltage to be stable after it has been triggered.
