The LMV824 IPT is a high voltage operational amplifier operating from a single dual-poled supply. Designed for data acquisition & instrumentation applications, the LMV824 is suitable for applications from industrial control systems to laboratory test and measurement. It has an integrated input protection structure and offers a wide input common mode voltage range of up to 50V and a full scale output voltage of 200V.
The LMV824 is a rail-to-rail input and output dual amplifiers that provide excellent performance in slewing and settling time with minimal supply current. It also provides excellent DC & AC performance over the extended temperature range, and is capable of outputting a high common-mode dynamic range of up to 50V with a full-scale output of 200V.
The LMV824 utilizes a differential amplifier input stage and bipolar matched transistors for high input impedance, low offset voltage and low offset voltage temperature drift. The LMV824 also features a low output impedance and an adjustable critical loop stabilization for operation at high gain.
In terms of working principle, the LMV824 comprises of two common-source power stages - one for input and one for output - that allow it to function as an instrumentation amplifier. The input has a differential voltage range of 200V while the output common-mode voltage range is between -50V and +50V. The LMV824 utilizes a rail-to-rail power stage design which means that it is capable of driving output current of up to 5mA.
In terms of applications, the LMV824 can be used in a wide range of instrumentation and industrial control applications, including data acquisition and signal conditioning, control systems, industrial automation and instrumentation, medical and health care systems, and other industrial applications. It can also be used in a wide variety of test and measurement applications, such as amplitude, frequency, period, and voltage measurements.
