The LMV834MT/NOPB can also be used in any application where rail-to-rail input and output ranges are needed.Working PrincipleThe LMV834MT/NOPB operates on a single supply of between 1.8V and 5.5V. The amplifier consists of two input channels, each with a gain accuracy of 0.01 percent and a low power consumption of 5.5 mW max. The input of the amplifier can accept a wide range of input signal from a 0.3V rail-to-rail input range to a maximum of the supply voltage. The output can provide rail-to-rail performance with a voltage range of 0.15V to the supply voltage. The amplifier also features short-circuit and over-temperature protection.The amplifier operates in a differential mode, where the input difference between the two channels is amplified. The output is the difference between the two input signals. This ensures gain accuracy of 0.01 percent, as the thermally-generated errors in the amplifier are cancelled out.
