The LNBP9K7-R voltage regulator is an integrated, special-purpose solution for power management applications. It is an integrated power management IC, an all in one solution combining a PMIC and multiple power rails, to reduce system design complexity and overall size.The LNBP9K7-R is designed for use in a variety of applications including but not limited to automotive, medical, industrial and consumer systems. It is targeted for use in medium to high-end systems, where low standby and higher efficiency is required.The LNBP9K7-R consists of multiple power rails, each divided into an analog section and a digital section, which enables it to handle both analog and digital components. The output power rails generated by the device include a VDD main rail(3.3V, 5V, 12V or 15V), a VDDIO rail (3.3V, 5V or 12V) and a VDDPWR rail (3.3V or 5V). The remaining blocks of the device include four output buck regulators, one general-purpose linear regulator, one high-speed switching regulator, and one battery charger. The buck regulators accept 3.3V, 5V, 12V or 15V input voltages and provide fixed output voltages of 1.8V, 1.2V, and 0.7V, as well as an adjustable output. The general-purpose linear regulator can be configured for a range of output voltages between 1.2V and 3.3V.The high-speed switching regulator can accept a wide range of input voltage from 1.8V to 12V, and generates an output voltage of 0.6V. The battery charger can accept an input voltage of 4.2V to 14V and output a charging current of up to 1000mA. It supports Li-Ion and Li-Pol charging profiles.The LNBP9K7-R device supports programmable current limit, under-voltage protection, and over-voltage protection functions, and supports analog voltage and current monitoring. The device also includes Thermal Shut-down, short-circuit protection, and OTP.In conclusion, the LNBP9K7-R is an integrated solution that is perfect for the power management needs of a wide variety of applications.
