Application Field of LP270F35IDT
The LP270F35IDT is used in a variety of applications such as mobile handsets, GSM/CDMA wireless base stations, GPS and satellite communication systems, portable medical equipment, instrumentation and test and measurement equipment. It is also suitable for use in time control applications, such as time-code generators or clocks. This TCXO has excellent low power performance and frequency stability over a wide operating temperature range. It has very good ESD protection performance and is reliable in harsh environmental conditions.
Working Principle of LP270F35IDT
The working principle of a crystal oscillator is based on the quartz crystal resonator. The quartz crystal resonator consists of a piece of quartz crystal with electrodes attached on two opposite sides. The quartz crystal resonator functions like an LC circuit. When an AC signal is applied across the electrodes, the quartz crystal would vibrate at its one natural resonance frequency. This is the frequency of the crystal, which is usually called the crystal frequency. The quartz crystal is then connected to the amplifier to create an oscillator. The oscillator\'s oscillation frequency is determined by the equilibrium of resistance between the oscillator circuit and the crystal.
The LP270F35IDT is equipped with a temperature-compensated ASIC, an advanced temperature compensation technology and an on-chip quartz crystal resonator, allowing for extremely low power consumption, frequency stability and low temperature drift over a wide operating temperature range. The advanced temperature compensation technology ensures the accuracy of the oscillation frequency over the entire temperature range. In addition, the device also has excellent ESD protection. This low power TCXO is ideal for precision timing and frequency control applications operating in harsh environmental conditions.
