LP358DG4 is an operational amplifier designed for instrumentation, OP amp and buffer applications. This amplifier is designed to provide a high-precision, low-noise solution to instrumentation and audio applications. The LP358DG4 is a dual, low-powered, high-precision, low-noise performance operational amplifiers, with low distortion and high common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR). This amplifier is fabricated with low power CMOS technology and is optimized for low cost and low voltage operation.The LP358DG4 is a direct replacement for the obsolete, but popular LP358DG4 Op Amp. It provides a wide operating supply range from 2.5V to 5V, and its single-supply operation from 2.5V makes it ideal for battery-powered applications. Its low mean output noise voltage—0.5 µV (fmax = 10KHz) greatly improves the signal-to-noise ratio in instrumentation and audio applications, while its wide bandwidth and high slew rate make it an ideal choice for wideband and high-speed applications.The LP358DG4 features a high slew rate of 8V/μs and wide bandwidth of 500MHz. It has an input bias current limit of 1nA and an input impedance of 103 G Ohms. It features an output impedance of 4 Ohms and maximum compensated gain of125dB. It also features an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.The LP358DG4 is designed to work in a variety of instrumentation, OP amp, and buffer applications. It has been used for gain stages, filters, and switches for applications such as audio and precision sensor systems. The LP358DG4 can also be used as a voltage pre-amplifier to amplify small signals from transducers and other low-level signals that have to be detected to be correctly processed by a DSP.
