LP5910DRV18EVM is an evaluation board from Texas Instruments for the DC/DC converter with integrated high-side MOSFET driver Lp5910. It is designed for use in a wide range of linear voltage regulator applications.This evaluation board enables efficient power sequencing and control for applications such as laptops, servers, storage, modems, wireless access points, baseband and RF transceivers, consumer electronics, and industrial electronics. It features an adjustable output voltage, programmable undervoltage lockout (UVLO), and adjustable soft-start with current limit protection. The board also has an internal reference as well as external feedback options.The LP5910DRV18EVM evaluation board is optimized for use with the Lp5910 dual-channel, synchronous, dimming, high-side MOSFET driver. It provides an input voltage range of 2.6V to 5.5V and an output voltage range of 0.9V to 5.0V. The board includes a 3A non-inverting buck regulator with the Lp5910 driver. Additionally, it has a 3-MHz switching frequency allowing fast response to load transients.The LP5910DRV18EVM evaluation board features a set of on-board connectors for various setup requirements, which include an SD card socket, 4-position screw terminals, I2C port connectors, and LMV150 reference voltage input. Additionally, it includes an adjustable buck regulator settings for voltage and current settings, as well as several configurable GPIO pins.To assist development engineers, the LP5910DRV18EVM evaluation board comes with on-board features such as an LED indicator, DC-DC regulator power control switch, and a USB connector for debugging. Furthermore, the board includes an on-board breadboard which can be used for development and troubleshooting purposes.Based on configured settings, engineers can modify the voltage and current settings of the DC-DC buck regulator with ease. Using the on-board jumper, engineers can configure the buck regulator for forced pulse skipping, in order to reduce switching losses and improve efficiency.
