The LT1737CS#TRPBF is a high voltage precision current-mode step-up DC/DC controller. It utilizes its unique Low Input Voltage Undervoltage Lockout (UVLO) and its proprietary valley current Mode Control method in order to reduce the system BOM cost, size, and increase efficiency. This device can be used in a variety of applications such as mobile phone chargers, LCD backlighting and multimedia products. The LT1737CS#TRPBF has a wide input voltage range of 2.5 V to 28 V and is suitable for high voltage applications. It offers a high switching frequency up to 1 MHz and is capable of providing up to 15V output voltage. The device is offered in a surface-mount SOIC-8 package that can be used with a variety of power inductors. The LT1737CS#TRPBF is a DC/DC step-up converter that works by taking an input voltage and converting it to a higher output voltage. The input voltage can be anywhere from 2.5 V to 28 V while the output voltage can range from 2.5 V to 16 V. The IC features an internal error amplifier, an internal compensated oscillator, an internal current sense amplifier, and load current and error compensation circuitry.
