The LT1764AEQ-3.3#TRPBF is a family of high-performance, high-frequency DC/DC step-down switching regulators, which have been designed for use in a variety of low-power systems. As a member of the Linear Voltage Regulators family of products, the LT1764AEQ-3.3#TRPBF is a direct-driven or synchronous buck-converter which allows for dynamic adjustment of output voltage to a wide range of supply voltages. The LT1764AEQ-3.3#TRPBF is capable of operating at a frequency up to 2MHz and delivering up to 3.2W of power efficiency. It also features low-noise operation, fast transient response and a high set-point accuracy.

The LT1764AEQ-3.3#TRPBF is designed primarily as a voltage regulator and as such, it can be applied in a variety of applications such as distributed power systems and SEPIC converters. As a voltage regulator, the LT1764AEQ-3.3#TRPBF can be used to regulate the output voltage of a power supply, to provide a consistent voltage source to a load, regardless of the input voltage. The LT1764AEQ-3.3#TRPBF can also be employed as a switch-mode power supply (SMPS) to convert a higher input voltage to a lower output voltage, as required for many electronic applications.
