LT1933HS6#TRMPBF is a monolithic synchronous DC-DC buck regulator with a power switch and internal power MOSFET that achieves greater than 95% efficiency. This type of regulator is a high frequency, fixed frequency, stepped-down (buck) switching regulator with 1A output current and an adjustable output voltage range of 0.8V-5V onboard. This DC-DC switching regulator is designed to provide large input voltage range up to 12V and is an ideal choice for applications that need low quiescent current, low output ripple, and tiny solution size.

This regulator has two operating modes: one is pulse frequency modulation (PFM) mode and the other is pulse width modulation (PWM) mode. When in PFM it provides high efficiency by transitioning to PWM mode when large load current is required.
