The series pass device, voltage reference and current limit device work together to maintain the output voltage stability and the current limit device works to set the maximum current and protect the circuit from over-current. The LT3011IDD#PBF also features a low-bias current differential amplifier in order to reduce input/output offset and provide excellent electrical characteristics.
