The LT3045EDD#PBF is a high performance, low quiescent current, low dropout linear regulator in 3mm x 3mm DFN package. It features a low dropout voltage of 375mV with a load current range of 0.1A to 1A. Its wide input voltage range of 3V to 45V allows it to be used in applications with wide input voltage variations. Working Principle of LT3045EDD#PBF

The LT3045EDD#PBF operates on a linear regulator principle and operates with a voltage dropout of only 375mV. The output voltage is set by the voltage divider network which gives an accurate output voltage. The LT3045EDD#PBF also has a reference voltage of 1.2V, which sets the voltage output of the regulator. With these features, the LT3045EDD#PBF provides high accuracy, low quiescent current (typically 35uA), low thermal capacitance and low noise operation.
