LT3048IDC-12

The LT3048IDC-12 is a linear regulator and switching power supply integrated circuit from Linear Technology. It is designed to generate an output voltage from 1.26V - 28V. The voltage dropping and current limiting circuit protection is included, making the boosting and bucking voltage regulation a breeze.

The LT3048IDC-12 works by using the switching power conversion and deep discharge battery charging principles. It has four operational modes including boosting, bucking, float and deep discharge. The deep discharge mode enables LT3048IDC-12 to regulate the drain current level even when the output voltage falls to a terminal voltage of 0V, maintaining the battery voltage at a safe level.

The LT3048IDC-12 has wide application possibilities. It is ideal for applications like automotive, industrial and consumer electronic equipment, as well as applications that require tracking, current limiting, or high capability voltage sources. It is also suitable for portable devices such as mobile phones, tablets, action cameras and wireless speaker systems.

The built-in over-voltage and over-current protection allows the LT3048IDC-12 to maintain high performance even in extreme operating conditions.
