LT4321IUF#TRPBF is a high performance Power Management IC (PMIC) controller that is designed to optimize the total power efficiency for a given application. It is capable of pushing either traditional diode or integrated OR (driving current) based applications. The typical application of LT4321IUF#TRPBF includes a wide range of voltage regulation and power management schemes in which traditional diodes have a major role in optimizing the current power transfer efficiency.
LT4321IUF#TRPBF offers several features in its class. It is an ideal controller for any OR based application; it has a built-in self-compensating reference voltage, a current sensing resistor, a voltage mode error amplifier, two low power mode fail alerts, thermal reset protection for over-heating, and a temperature monitor for thermal regulation. It also has robust railed ESD protection for all power rails, a built-in resistor for current sensing, and a low operation current demand.
The LT4321IUF#TRPBF is designed to optimize power efficiency with its three-stage power supply output control. It provides adjustable current level control and short-circuit protection with an accurate current sensing resistor. This allows the system to maintain a steady current based on predetermined values. It also allows fine tuning of the output voltage range to improve power regulation across input voltages.
The LT4321IUF#TRPBF also provides a low RDS(on) current flow control feature. This feature is especially useful in applications where transient current spikes are required.
