Data Acquisition – Analog to Digital Converters (ADC)The LTC2286CUP is a low power, low-noise, high-precision 12-bit Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) offering excellent system-level performance in a narrow MSOP-8 package. It is ideal for a variety of applications including communications, portable medical instruments and equipment, portable instrumentation, automotive, industrial and consumer applications.The LTC2286CUP is a member of the LTC2886 family of precision ADCs (Analog-to-Digital Converter) with a sampling rate of 1GSPS and a DC accuracy of 0.25%. This ADC features an on-chip array of 20 bipolar gain stages, each independently adjustable. It is available in an 8-pin MSOP package and is compatible with low-voltage and low-power systems.The on-chip 8-bit digital-to-analog converter enables the user to select different gains from the single gain stage array. The LTC2286CUP operates from a single 5V supply and can operate in either single-ended or differential mode configuration.When operated in the single-ended mode, the input range is 0V to 2.4V and the output range is 0V to 2.4V. In the differential mode, the gain can be set from 4.92dB to 15.5dB with the input range from -5V to 5V.The LTC2286CUP provides excellent data conversion performance with its low-power, low-noise and high-precision features.
