The data is then captured and stored within a register and is basically the equivalent digital representation of the input signal. It uses a Programmable Mapping Cycle (PMC) to map data from the A/D input and then to the PMC register. It boasts of an impressive signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 87dB and 80dB at –90dB FS, making it ideal for applications that require low-level signal accuracy.
