LTC2364HMS-16#PBF is an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Linear Technology Corporation. This high-speed, 16-bit, sigma-delta ADC uses a very low power master-slave architecture for low-distortion, high-resolution digital output. It is ideally suited for high-precision applications such as medical instruments, industrial process control and instrumentation, data acquisition systems, test and measurement instruments, and data logging.The LTC2364HMS-16#PBF is a true single-supply device with an onboard reference, requires only a single 3.3V supply and operates over a wide temperature range with no adjustments or calibration. Its integral low-noise switched-capacitor array provides a sample-and-hold-enhanced conversion process and enables a fast 250kHz throughput without troublesome adjustments or calibrations.The device features a built-in noise-immune input protection circuit, eliminating the need for separate protection components. This single device offers a no-coil, low-power alternative to many complex, power-hungry ADCs on the market. The sampling rate and gain are fully programmable through the serial peripheral interface (SPI), allowing for easy integration into existing systems.The device is powered by the on-board reference, which is optimized for low power and excellent accuracy. This reference can be adjusted if necessary for noise-sensitive applications and features live temperature tracking for enhanced accuracy.
