The device combines an integrated digital temperature sensor and a digital power-on reset, allowing the user to remotely monitor, shutdown and start the device from a central location.The LTC2995HUD#TRPBF uses an improved thermistor-based thermistor sensor for accurate temperature readings. The on-chip temperature sensor provides a low-drift, easy-to-use temperature measurement for applications requiring temperatures that are within the range of –40°C to +85°C. The device features a 10-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC), adjustable operating temperature ranges and a three-level temperature alarm set point.The device also offers a variety of capabilities for controlling and monitoring other devices. It can be configured to monitor a single point temperature or two-point temperature. There is also an on board 2.25V, open drain output stage which allows direct connection to a digital circuitry or provide a PWM pulse-width or frequency output controlled using the integrated ADC.The device provides an adjustable reset limit with temperature-based cycling production and external temperature measurement at the same time. The device also provides digital alarm output when the device temperature exceeds a set temperature limit. Additionally, the device can be used to control secondary power management devices by providing an alert signal to the external circuitry when the temperature is approaching the desired limit.The LTC2995HUD#TRPBF is ideal for applications with temperature sweeps, power management and monitoring, audio protection, and active cooling. This versatile device allows for a high degree of flexibility and control, resulting in highly reliable and efficient system performance.
