It can be used for ground loop isolators to eliminate ground potential differences, for serial data communication in medical equipment, safety and industrial controllers, data acquisition systems and portable instrumentation applications. It is also used in military and aerospace applications.Working Principle:The LTC4304CMS#PBF consists of two parts: a voltage-mode digital isolator and a low-power, voltage-mode buffered amplifier. The isolator is connected to both the input and the output, the buffered amplifier is connected only to the output. The isolator is used to separate the two sides of the signaling path. The digital isolator has two components: a Digital Isolator *xChannel* and a Digital Isolator *yChannel*. The *xChannel* isolator is used for isolating the AC-coupled input side from the DC-coupled output side. The *yChannel* isolator is used for determining the input signal level on the AC-coupled output side.
