LTC6911CMS-1#TRPBF Application Field and Working PrincipleThe LTC6911CMS-1#TRPBF is a programmable buffer amplifier belonging to the Linear - Amplifiers - Instrumentation, OP Amps, and Buffer Amps categories. It’s a single, precision, buffered low output impedance amplifier; it has an adjustable buffer gain and can be employed in many circuits, applications and circuit feedback as an essential part in electronic systems.By combining a wide bandwidth and low offset over temperature, the buffer electronics industry often use this programmable buffer amplifier in sample and hold systems, log and antilog amplifiers, and can be used whenever a faithful low output impedance driver is needed. It is available in an industry standard SO package with a 2.5 mm pitch everyplace necessary. These highly versatile amplifiers are constructed around a linear automotive qualified buffer amplifier that features high precision and low output impedance. It has incredible linearity over a wide temperature range and can be employed in high output voltage or current applications. The eight terminal package of the LTC6911CMS-1#TRPBF buffer amplifier is split into an input side and a driver side. The input side is made of three pins including; VIN which is for the input voltage, GND for soil return and G which is for the gain adjust. These pins accept a gain adjusted input signal, which will then be buffered and amplified on the output side. The output side is composed of five pins; VOUT which is the output voltage, ENA which is the enable pin, GND which is the ground return pin, GND1 to complete the ground connection, and OUT which is the output voltage. The output voltage is determined by the input signal applied to the input side and the selected gain set by the G pin. The ENA pin then turns on the output side circuitry and the buffered output voltage of the device is delivered. The output side features switchable gain, low noise, and adjustable output voltage that can be changed according to the value set to the G pin.
