Additionally, the chip has high-accuracy oscillator input time constants that are integrated with on-chip programmable frequency dividers, making it one of the most versatile solutions available. One benefit of the LTC6950IUHH is its configurable reference frequency. This allows for flexibility in input clock frequencies ranging from 96 kHz to 5.3 MHz and allows for an output frequency range of 23–595 MHz, depending on the reference frequency chosen. This flexibility gives design engineers the ability to customize their clock/timing solutions and speeds the design process. Further, this chip provides a low power consumption of just 17 mW and a high-performance accuracy of 7 ppm.The LTC6950IUHH also is designed with a wide range of operating temperature, making it ideal for deployed applications. This chip is capable of operating between -40°C and 85°C, providing the longevity necessary to meet the needs of more extreme conditions. This chip has two user selectable operating modes, run-stop and spread spectrum, which can be individually enabled or disabled on a per output basis, allowing for greater control over the clock system and reducing electronic noise.The LTC6950IUHH also offers several I/O functions, such as an output driver, a programmable input divider, and an output divider, making it a versatile solution for many clock and timing applications. The LTC6950IUHH employs both separate amplifier and PLL circuits to ensure optimum performance at up to 600MHz throughout the entire temperature range.
