Digital isolators are small integrated circuits made to isolate two or more circuits from one another. This is typically done to protect the circuitry from ground loops and other potentially hazardous conditions from data lines and power sources. The LTM2882HY-5#PBFis a type of digital isolator that combines a capacitive coupling technique with a CMOS signal conditioning circuit.
