The regulation loop is connected to the output of the power module. When the predetermined value of the output voltage is exceeded, the PWM signal is reduced for a shorter energizing time of the inductor, thus reducing the output voltage. Conversely, when the output voltage falls lower than the predetermined value, the PWM signal is increased for a longer energizing time, thus bringing up the output voltage.
