M20-7840942 is a wire to board connector system of the rectangular family, used for PCB to PCB, and PCB to cable applications. It features a reliable and easy to use push-pull locking mechanism and a wide range of options that include vertical type receptacles and above board type headers.

The M20-7840942 connectors are classified as Headers, Receptacles and Female Sockets, each with different contact patterns and orientations. The components of the family include:

  • Headers - With female contacts tailored for panel mount interconnect solutions.
  • Receptacles - With male contacts tailored for application on printed circuit boards, flex and rigid.
