Working PrincipleThe M39003/01-2463H works in conjunction with two electrodes in order to create a capacitor. Specifically, this device uses a Tantalum anode which is a form of Metal Tantalum. The Tantalum anode is encased in a dielectric material which creates a static charge between the two electrodes. The voltage and current that flows through the electrodes creates a charge that is stored in the capacitor. This charge is stored for later use in the application at hand. When a voltage source is applied to the capacitor, the two electrodes begin to store electric energy. This energy is stored until the capacitor is discharged to a ground point. During discharge, the voltage will drop across the capacitor until there is no voltage applied.
