Tantalum Capacitors

Tantalum capacitors, also known as tantalum electrolytic capacitors, are components of various electrical circuits and electronic devices. These capacitors are characterized by exceptionally high capacity, very low self-discharge rate, low temperature coefficient, and high electron mobility. There are two common types of tantalum capacitors: solid and wet. The M39003/01-5544H is a wet tantalum capacitor, meaning the dielectric material is a polymer tantalum-oxide gel.

The M39003/01-5544H is a high-reliability three-input capacitor featuring an extended temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. It has a rated voltage of 10 volts and an operating temperature range of -55°C to +85°C. The capacitor is designed for a variety of applications, including power supply for digital equipment, measuring instruments, computers, mobile equipment, motor control systems, and audio equipment.

M39003/01-5544H\'s working principle is relatively simple. It works in a similar way to other capacitors, though it has some unique characteristics. The capacitor stores up electrical charge and is made up of two plates separated by a dielectric material. When a voltage is applied across the two plates, the electric field created by the difference in potential causes a charge to build up on the plates and current flows. The amount of charge stored is determined by the capacitance of the capacitor, which is related to the area of the plates, the type of material used for the plates, and the distance between them.
