Tantalum capacitors, sometimes referred to as tantalum electrolytic capacitors, are a type of capacitor that are often used in the electrical and electronics industry. The tantalum capacitor combines the voltage and temperature characteristics of an electrolytic capacitor with the stability of a ceramic capacitor.
