The working principle of a tantalum capacitor is based on Faraday\'s law of electrolysis. When a current passes through the anode (positive plate), an electrolytic solution oxidizes the tantalum oxide layer, creating an increase in capacitance. At the same time, electrons are released in the cathode (negative plate), resulting in a decrease in capacitance. This process continues until equilibrium is reached, resulting in a stable and predictable capacitance. The M39003/01-6046H is an ideal choice for high-current applications, due to its high ripple and surge current capability, and its high degree of stability. Its low profile makes it an excellent choice in space-constrained applications, while its solid construction and long term stability make it a reliable choice in military and aerospace applications.
