It has a low profile of 1.2 mm x 1.2 mm with a diameter of 0.57 mm. Its construction is based on a regulated alloy dielectric system and a capacitance range of 10uF to 100uF.It provides low equivalent series resistance, improved surge current capability, excellent temperature stability and high stability over time and frequency. Its special design allows for a maximum operating temperature of +105°C and a maximum ripple current of 1603mA. It also provides a small capacitance tolerance of -30%/+50%.The M39003/01-7179/HSD was designed as an upgrade from previous versions of the M39003 series. It has a superior chassis for operation to any military temperature environmental standard. It also provides an extended lifetime with reliable electrical performance and high stability over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C.The working principle of a Tantalum Capacitor is relatively simple. A single layer of tantalum metal is deposited onto a dielectric ceramic substrate. This forms an electrical interface between the two layers. When an electrical signal passes through the capacitor, it will charge the capacitor.
