The capacitance of the device is, in this instance, determined using the equation C=KSA/d, where K is the dielectric constant of the oxide, S is the area of the anode-to-cathode gap, A is the area of the oxide layer, and d is the thickness of the dielectric layer.The application field of the M39003/03-0479/HSD tantalum capacitors generally includes those areas that require prolonged and reliable DC filtering and electrical/electronic power conditioning capabilities, such as Aerospace, Military, and other high-performance applications. Their designed voltage rating is guaranteed from -54°C to +125°C with an enhanced temperature range of -67°C to +150°C for extended performance. Source voltage ratings of up to 220 Volt DC/AC are available.Additionally, the M39003/03-0479/HSD capacitors provide an excellent dynamic frequency response, high surge current withstand capability, and MIL-PRF-29137/46481 performance qualification.
