Working Principle

M3CMK-3406R modular plugs are made from a combination of a plastic connector body, a conductive metal shell and a resilient rubberized gasket. The conductive metal shell is machined from high-grade stainless steel and contains a small clasp which is used to attach each plug into the corresponding modular jack. The rubberized gasket forms a moisture-resistant seal which ensures that no moisture or other contaminants can penetrate the inner workings of the cable assembly.

The inner wiring of the assembly consists of two conductive cables which are attached to the modular plugs by crimping.
