M80-5323422 is a rectangular connector header manufactured and supplied by Hirose Electric. It is a part of company’s M80 series of low profile connectors. The connector header conforms to the industry standard IEC 60601-1-6 and hence widely used in medical and healthcare equipment.

The M80-5323422 connector header requires 2 rows of rectangular board-to-board connection. It is constructed using Hirose’s patented FPC retention clips which prevents damage and ensures the FPC securely engages with the connector. This patented FPC retention clip is combined with Hirose’s unique design to provide an easier two-row board-to-board connection for various rectangular board layouts. Depending on the board layout, up to nine different combinations of FPC retention clips are available to meet various applications of board-to-board connection.

The M80-5323422 connector header comes with a low profile design that require minimal space. The connector is designed with a 2mm pitch with two points of contact and is available in four different row combinations ranging from 4 to 70-positions.
