M87C257-15C1 Application Field and Working Principle
M87C257-15C1 is an 8-bit non-volatile memory chip that combines 8K bytes of FLASH memory and 5K bytes of OTP (One-Time Programming) memory. This chip is mainly used in OTP application fields where EEPROM memory needs to be maintained and low power consumption needs to be achieved.
M87C257-15C1 Chips fabricated with modern CMOS process have the characteristics of low power consumption and fast speed. At the same time, the operating current is only 3.2mA and the standby current is as low as 0.7mA, which greatly reduces the scope of power consumption.
