The MA1206 is a high performance power line filter module which is designed for digital signal applications. It can be used as an input or output filter for devices and systems in order to isolate the devices from high frequency noise, improve SNR (signal-to-noise ratio), reduce EMI (electromagnetic interference), and protect connected equipment from potentially harmful voltage transients.

The MA1206 is a three-phase three-pole (3P3®) filter module with surge blocking capability which is designed to meet the EN61000-4-5 surge voltage requirement. It is rated up to 660VAC (Voltage Alternating Current) and 32 Amps (with respect to total current of all three phases). The MA1206 is also available with single-phase configurations for applications where three-phase filtering is not needed.

The power line filter module MA1206 has a patented resonance suppression technique with a low-inductance capacitive network to reduce the harmonic and DC current distortion. The narrow-band suppression characteristics limit the common-mode noise voltage from a switching power supply within the sensitive frequency range.
