The MAX2087ACXD+ is a high-speed, low-power, true LVPECL/LVDS clock and data recovery circuit designed for clock and data recovery applications with data rates up to 5.64Gb/s. It has a fully differential input stage which is capable of recovering clock and data from both single-ended and differential LVPECL signals. It offers a wide range of features including low-jitter clock generation and selection, performance monitoring via three diagnostic bits, and adjustable output de-emphasis to compensate for high-frequency attenuation. The MAX2087ACXD+ is designed to be used in a wide variety of applications, including communications (base station, storage and network), broadcast/video, and embedded applications.
The MAX2087ACXD+ is a highly integrated mixed-signal IC specifically designed to support the standard LVPECL/LVDS input and output interface. Its output stage is designed to provide a wide range of output frequencies, from 1.25GHz to 6.5GHz. It has a fully differential input stage which allows it to recover clock and data from single-ended or differential inputs. The input stage also has an adjustable gain control and equalization to compensate for high-frequency losses in the transmission channel.
The MAX2087ACXD+ includes two clock and data recovery channels in a single package.
