The MAX4071UA-T is an advanced instrumentation operational amplifier (in-amp) designed for precision and accuracy in the most demanding applications. It is ideal for precision and high-temperature applications. The in-amp has an extended common-mode voltage range, low offset voltage and drift, excellent linearity, and low current noise. Working Principle of MAX4071UA-T The MAX4071UA-T has a differential amplifier architecture with a wide differential voltage range of ±50V. This amplifier provides common-mode rejection (CMRR) up to ±110dB over the specified temperature range and power supply range. The input stage is a fully differential amplifier with an integrated pass-gate switch for ground-referenced inputs. The MAX4071UA-T’s architecture eliminates the need for a voltage-source termination resistor and reduces thermal EMFs. The input stage includes an on-board precision voltage reference (VREF) to minimize matching between different in-amps, providing excellent common-mode rejection. The MAX4071UA-T also includes a variable-gain amplifier (VGA) which can be used to adjust the gain of the amplifier over a wide range. The VGA can be programmed using external resistors or can be set using an external signal. The VGA allows the device to provide accurate signal conditioning and signal rejection in closed-loop applications.The MAX4071UA-T has adjustable output current and low-offset current capability. The output current of the device can be adjusted from 0.2mA to 1.0mA by changing the output current range (OCR) resistor.
