Introduction

The MAX4377HAUA+T is an ultra-low power instrumentation amplifier with rail-to-rail inputs and a wide input range. It is designed to accommodate a wide range of sensor and amplifier applications, including temperature and pressure sensing, instrumentation and control, analog water level sensing and condenser microphone amplifiers. It operates from a single supply voltage up to 18 V and is capable of driving load currents up to 100 mA. The MAX4377HAUA+T is ideal for portable and low power instrumentation applications and is available in a lead-free, chip-scale package (CSP).

Application Field

The MAX4377HAUA+T is suitable for a wide range of sensor and amplifier applications. Working Principle

The first stage is an inverting op amp, which amplifies the input signal by an adjustable gain factor, selected by adjusting the external resistance connected to the gain adjust pin. The output of the inverting amplifier is then fed to the second stage, where it is added to a reference voltage to shift the output voltage to the desired level.
