Working Principle

The MAX4598CWP+ operates on the principle of “on-off” control. For low signals, a “Conductor L” connects the two channels. For high signals, a “Conductor H” disconnects the two channels. If a control signal is applied to the Control Input terminal, the two channels will be disconnected and the signal will be routed to the output terminal.

When using the MAX4598CWP+, a voltage higher than 2.7V is applied to the Control Input terminal. When the control input is low, the two channels are connected and the signal is routed to the output terminal. When the Control Input is high, the two channels are disconnected and the signal is routed to the output terminal.
