The MAX4822ETP+T is a monolithic power distribution switch, load driver and amplifier for portable applications such as notebook computers, PDAs and other battery-operated devices. It is designed for single cell Li-Ion/Li-polymer battery powered applications where low-loss, high-current output switches are required. The MAX4822ETP+T offers a wide range of features and is fully compatible with the MAX4822ETP+T application field.

The MAX4822ETP+T application field includes a variety of portable applications such as notebook computers, PDAs, GPS navigators, digital cameras, medical devices, and wireless communication systems. The MAX4822ETP+T offers a wide range of features, including low-loss, high-current output switches, selective enabling and disabling of multiple stages, single cell Li-Ion/Li-polymer battery compatibility, and low control-supply current. The device also has a low minimum turn-on voltage, making it ideal for powering low-voltage ICs and other ICs in single cell Li-Ion/Li-polymer battery-powered applications.

The working principle of the MAX4822ETP+T is based on a low-loss current-limited switching power distribution switch, load driver and amplifier. The device has four channels that can be independently enabled and disabled, allowing for high-current output switching for single cell Li-Ion/Li-polymer battery powered applications. Each channel has two outputs and can be configured for either low-side or high-side switching. The device also features a control-supply current that is low enough to allow for a longer battery life. Additionally, the device features a low turn-on voltage to allow for powering of low-voltage ICs.
