The MAX5264ACMH is a 10-bit plus sign, unipolar voltage output, digital-to-analog converter (DAC) which features wide dynamic performance and low quiescent current. This device has a fast settling time, 2μs max, and has a wide operating temperature range of -40℃ to +125℃. This DAC features a very low 2mA (max) full-scale current, low temperature coefficient and low power consumption of only 11mW. This device is available in a 4mm x 4mm LFCSP package that requires no external components.

Working Principle

The MAX5264ACMH is a high-precision digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that converts digital input signals into analog output signals. This device operates on the principle of charge transfer, meaning that it transfers digital ones and zeros to an internal capacitor array. This array of capacitors then converts the digital input signal into an analog voltage. The charge transfer technique used by the MAX5264ACMH allows it to operate with excellent linearity and dynamic range, while achieving very low power consumption.

The MAX5264ACMH has a 10-bit plus sign DAC resolution, which means that it can convert digital input values from -511 to +511.
