The MAX5318GUG+ is a Digital-to-Analog Converter or DAC. It offers a wide range of applications in fields such as medical imaging, microwave and radar, instrumentation, wireless and optical communications, and data acquisition.The DAC supports both single-ended and differential output operation, and has an integrated 16-bit current output stage for easy implementation of High Frequency Low-Sampling Applications.

The MAX5318GUG+ features a single-ended, rail-to-rail current-output architecture that provides a wide output range of 0mA to 12mA. The DAC has an integrated output stage, allowing it to operate directly into a low impedance AC- or DC-coupled lowpass or bandpass filter. This allows for high power efficiency, small size and low cost. The DAC also offers a wide bandwidth of up to 1MHz, making it ideal for high-rate signal processing applications.
